Shell size: Approx. 10 to 15mm in length.

Description & Application:
Natural white mini shells from approved sources. Being small in size the shells are particularly suited to decorating fun shell boxes and for arts and crafts. Shells can be attached either with 'UHU' type glue, or a hot glue gun.

Shells are suitable as homes for both the miniature blue legged and the tiny red hermit crab.

Colour & Form:
We take great care to provide accurate images, however, as a totally natural product shade variations and irregularities can occur, we consider these add to the fascination of the collection.

Background: Nassa are small to medium sized snails found worldwide in shallow muddy waters. Beads made from Nassa shell are the oldest known form of personal adornment - examples from Israel and Algeria are thought to be at least 90,000 years old.
